AI bought the cheapest Bitcoin miner I could find on Temu—a $21 “USB BTC Solo Lottery Miner”—to see whether it actually works or if I just got scammed, and the results were exactly what you’d expect. In this video, I unbox the mystery miner shipped from China, inspect its questionable ESP32-based hardware, compare it to classic USB Block Erupters and NerdMiner devices, and test it on PublicPool and HMPool to see if it can produce even a single valid share. One unit arrived completely dead, the other mined for only a few minutes before dropping offline, and even at its best the odds of hitting a solo Bitcoin block at 40–50 KH/s are an absurd 1 in 416 billion per year. This was a fun experiment to show what these ultra‑cheap Temu miners really are—nostalgic trinkets at best, e‑waste at worst—and why they’re absolutely not worth buying if you’re serious about Bitcoin mining.
