I Connected My Miner Directly to Bitcoin

Running your own Bitcoin solo miner at home is one thing, but running it against your OWN Bitcoin node is a whole other level. In this video I set up the Mars Lander 3, an all-in-one package that packs a Bitaxe Gamma 601 pulling 1.2 TH/s AND a full Bitcoin node into one gorgeous honeycomb desk piece. Your miner talks directly to your node, connecting you straight to Bitcoin with the chance of solo mining a block worth over $200,000.

I walk through the entire setup: connecting the Bitaxe to Wi-Fi, configuring the pool in AxeOS to point at ml3.local, adding a fallback pool like CKPool or Public Pool, overclocking to turbo, and syncing the full Bitcoin blockchain onto the built-in Raspberry Pi node. Then I break down exactly how miners and nodes work together, from the mempool to hashing to finding a block.
