In this video I put the Hammer Miner Thor P2 through a full 24-hour Rabid Mining hashrate audit, then install Harlo Labs Harlo OS and run the exact same miner through another 24-hour test. The goal is simple: find out how the Thor P2 really performs, whether the dashboard hashrate matches the raw API and pool-verified work, and whether stock firmware or Harlo OS gives the better combination of hashrate, wall power and efficiency.
The Thor P2 is a small SHA-256 Bitcoin miner using two BM1373 ASIC chips with a target around 10 TH/s at roughly 166W. I also go over the XT60 power connection, included GM-H250S12 PSU, Ethernet setup, Harlo OS installation, multi-pool hashrate splitting, schedules, pool latency tools, Home Assistant integration, display customization, Stratum V2 support and more. I also compare Harlo’s estimated power reading against a real wall-meter measurement, because software power estimates are not always the same as what you are actually paying for at the wall.
This test also ties into the recent concerns around inflated or fake displayed hashrate on some home miners. The new Rabid Mining audit compares the miner dashboard, raw local API data and server-validated Stratum work over 24 hours so we can see what the miner is really doing instead of relying on a single dashboard number.
