I Stopped Solo Mining Bitcoin to Try This…

What if you could use your Bitcoin solo miner for something other than chasing an incredibly unlikely Bitcoin block?

In this video, I’m mining QUAI using the same SHA-256 home Bitcoin miners many of us already have running. Instead of waiting for a massive solo Bitcoin payout, the idea is to accumulate QUAI now and potentially hold it for later.

QUAI is currently worth around $0.01, while its previous all-time high was around $0.36. That doesn’t mean it’ll ever get back there. Quai could go up, down, or nowhere, but it makes for an interesting mining experiment.

I’ll show you how much QUAI I’m actually mining with my NerdOctaxe Hydro, compare the potential earnings to Bitcoin mining, and then walk through exactly how to configure a Bitaxe running AxeOS to mine QUAI through StratumX.

This is a speculative mining experiment, not a prediction that QUAI will return to any previous price. Always do your own research before deciding what to mine, hold, or sell.
