Ripple Declines Amid CME Futures Launch, New Exchange Partnership On Horizon

Ripple (CRYPTO: XRP) slipped by over 1.44% in the past 24 hours, trading at $2.34. As traders brace for a week driven by the launch of CME futures, and BitMEX partnership speculations, the broader market has shown positive momentum. XRP has remained limited to a range between $2.32 and $2.62 over the past week.

The market focus is on the expected launch of XRP and Micro XRP futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (NASDAQ:CME), scheduled to go live Monday, pending regulatory approval. Per the CME Group, these contracts will be cash-settled using the CME CF XRP-DOLLAR Reference Rate, with each standard contract representing 50,000 and 2,500 XRP.
