Crypto Market Stagnates<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bitcoin <\/strong>spiked to an intraday high of $62,788 but faced stiff resistance soon after. Ethereum<\/strong> meandered in the $1,600 zone, while XRP <\/strong>and Dogecoin <\/strong>traded in the red.<\/p>\n

Cryptocurrency-related stocks also fell, with Strategy Inc.<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<\/a>MSTR<\/a>) and Bitmine Immersion Technologies Inc.<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>BMNR<\/a>) closing down 1.43% and 3.46%, respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over $400 million was liquidated from the market in the last 24 hours, with long position traders bearing the brunt of the losses, according <\/a>to Coinglass data.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin’s open interest rose marginally by 0.84% in the last 24 hours. Retail and whale derivatives traders with open BTC positions, meanwhile, remained long on the apex cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n

“Extreme Fear” sentiment prevailed in the market, according <\/a>to the Crypto Fear & Greed Index.<\/p>\n
