Crypto Market <\/strong>Gains Momentum<\/h2>\n

Bitcoin <\/strong>extended gains, rising to an intraday high of $67,248 as trading volume jumped 40% over the last 24 hours. Ethereum<\/strong> topped $1.800 while XRP was up 4.5% from the previous day.<\/p>\n

Cryptocurrency-related stocks also lifted, with Strategy Inc.<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<\/a>MSTR<\/a>) and Bitmine Immersion Technologies Inc.<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>BMNR<\/a>) closing up 5.78% and 6.21%, respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over $480 million was liquidated from the market in the last 24 hours, predominantly in short bets, according <\/a>to Coinglass data.\u00a0Notably, more than $300 million in Bitcoin short positions were at risk of liquidation if the apex cryptocurrency rose to $70,000.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s open interest rose 2.06% in the last 24 hours, suggesting an influx of new money into the futures market.<\/p>\n
