Crypto Market Takes A Breather<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bitcoin <\/strong>gave back some of its recent gains, falling back into the $65,000 zone after coming close to breaking $67,000.\u00a0Ethereum <\/strong>followed suit, reversing from the intraday high of $1,837 to the high $1,700s. XRP <\/strong>and Dogecoin <\/strong>also pulled back.<\/p>\n

Cryptocurrency-related stocks also retreated, with Strategy Inc.<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<\/a>MSTR<\/a>) and Bitmine Immersion Technologies Inc.<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>BMNR<\/a>) closing down 6.35% and 5.26%, respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over $340 million was liquidated from the market in the last 24 hours, with long position traders bearing the brunt of the losses, according <\/a>to Coinglass data.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alongside the spot price dip, Bitcoin’s open interest contracted by 1.59% over the last 24 hours. Retail and whale derivatives traders on Binance<\/strong>, meanwhile, remained long on the apex cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n

“Extreme Fear” sentiment prevailed in the market, according <\/a>to the Crypto Fear & Greed Index.<\/p>\n
