The Tokyo-listed firm is now working to keep shareholders engaged through a Bitcoin rewards program, even as its stock has declined significantly this year.<\/p>\n<p>S&amp;P Dow Jones Indices removed Metaplanet from the S&amp;P Japan Mid Cap 100 as part of a rebalancing effort. The company had previously joined the index after successful trading linked to its strategy of accumulating Bitcoin, making it Asia\u2019s largest corporate Bitcoin treasury firm, according to CoinGape.<\/p>\n<p>This removal follows a significant drop in the company\u2019s stock price.
