Google launched its \u201cVertex AI<\/a>\u201d platform in 2021, an enterprise development platform for building and using generative AI and agents, counting 300+ corporate use cases already.<\/a>OpenAI just released ChatGPT \u201cOperator<\/a>\u201d, an agent capable of executing tasks such as booking a holiday and assisting users autonomously.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

At CES in January, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang didn\u2019t mince<\/a> words: \u201cAI agents are a multi-trillion dollar opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crypto and AI: The Perfect Marriage?<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

In Web3, frameworks, launchpads, payment rails, and applications are emerging, accumulating billions in value:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Crypto-powered AI agents are already making waves:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Truth Termina<\/a>l: This memetic AI agent grew the $GOAT token to a 1 billion market cap by gamifying participation and fostering belief systems on social media.<\/p>\n

AIxBT<\/a>: A crypto data aggregator with over 450,000 X followers, leveraging AI to provide market intelligence and investment insights.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

These agents are built on open-source frameworks or closed-sourced \u201claunchpads\u201d that allow users to easily create \u201ctokenized\u201d agents.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Why tokens? Tokens in many AI-agent frameworks serve as technical infrastructure and economic ecosystem, incentivizing development, fund ongoing operations, and align stakeholder interests within a decentralized framework.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Next?<\/h2>\n

The next two years will see exponential growth in AI agent adoption.
