{"id":11146,"date":"2025-02-03T20:31:40","date_gmt":"2025-02-03T20:31:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=11146"},"modified":"2025-02-03T20:31:40","modified_gmt":"2025-02-03T20:31:40","slug":"trump-announces-us-sovereign-wealth-fund-hints-at-tiktok-ownership-i-have-the-right-to-do-that","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=11146","title":{"rendered":"Trump Announces US Sovereign Wealth Fund, Hints At TikTok Ownership: &#8216;I Have The Right To Do That&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>President <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong> announced the creation of the first-ever U.S. sovereign wealth fund through an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/topic\/donald-trump\">executive order on Monday. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fund, which aims to \u201cmonetize the asset side of the U.S. balance sheet for the American people,\u201d will leverage government-owned assets to generate economic value, Treasury Secretary <strong>Scott Bessent<\/strong> said while speaking to the media at the White House.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to have a Sovereign Wealth Fund, which we\u2019ve never had,\u201d Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. <\/p>\n<p>Bessent indicated the fund would include a variety of \u201cliquid assets\u201d and strategic holdings within the U.S. economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe extraordinary size and scale of the U.S. government and the business it does with companies should create value for American citizens,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">President Eyes TikTok Inclusion, No Bitcoin Mention <\/h3>\n<p>While details remain limited, Trump indicated the fund could include the Chinese-owned social media platform <strong>TikTok<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor example, TikTok\u2014we\u2019re going to be doing something perhaps with TikTok, and perhaps not.
