We are actively talking,\u201d he stated at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The chances of a partnership have seemingly gone up<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, considering Hoskinson\u2019s most recent disclosure<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ciOqHA4_WFo&amp;ab_channel=CharlesHoskinson\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> Cardano\u2019s team keeps an active conversation with Ripple\u2019s leadership regarding <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the implementation of<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> RLUSD. Hoskinson also indicated that big news might <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">be announced<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> next month:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cWe talk to David Schwartz and Brad Garlinghouse<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Strong<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> possibility we can negotiate (RLUSD). As of writing these lines, ADA and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/xrp-slumped-below-2-as-ripple-whales-continue-to-offload\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">XRP<\/a> are both in the red weekly following the severe <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/crypto-liquidations-explode-to-over-2-2-billion-as-bitcoin-dumped-by-10k-daily\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">market correction<\/a> witnessed on February 3.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">RLUSD\u2019s Advancement<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ripple made the headlines in April 2024, revealing its plans to design a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the American dollar. The product passed through a testing phase in the following months before being officially <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/xrp-price-on-the-move-as-ripple-announces-stablecoin-launch-on-dec-17\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">approved<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> by the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) in mid-December.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">At first, it <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/rlusd-adoption-on-the-rise-this-popular-crypto-exchange-embraces-the-stablecoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">received<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> support from the cryptocurrency exchanges Uphold, Bitstamp, Bitso, Moonpay, CoinMENA, and Bullish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Monica Long (Ripple\u2019s president) <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/heres-when-rlusd-will-get-listed-by-other-crypto-exchanges-ripples-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">said<\/span><\/a> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">at the beginning of January that<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> people should expect such a move from other popular platforms \u201cimminently.\u201d<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Shortly after, Bitstamp <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/this-leading-crypto-exchange-embraces-ripples-stablecoin-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">hopped<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> on the bandwagon, listing the following trading pairs: RLUSD\/EUR, RLUSD\/USD, RLUSD\/USDT, RLUSD\/BTC, RLUSD\/ETH, and RLUSD\/XRP.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Despite being far away from the leaders Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC), RLUSD recently hit an important milestone: its market capitalization crossed $100 million.
