{"id":11423,"date":"2025-02-05T09:02:59","date_gmt":"2025-02-05T09:02:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=11423"},"modified":"2025-02-05T09:02:59","modified_gmt":"2025-02-05T09:02:59","slug":"blockstream-opens-new-office-in-tokyo-as-it-expands-in-asia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=11423","title":{"rendered":"Blockstream Opens New Office in Tokyo as It Expands in Asia"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Blockstream, the crypto company co-founded by legendary bitcoin (BTC) developer Adam Back, is expanding its global presence with the opening of a new office in Tokyo, the company said in a press release on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The company will be partnering in the region with Diamond Hands, Japan&#8217;s leading Bitcoin strategic consultancy, and investment firm Fulgur Ventures. <\/p>\n<p>Blockstream plans to drive adoption of Bitcoin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/learn\/what-are-layer-2s\" target=\"_blank\">Layer-2<\/a> and self custody technologies in Japan, the company said, as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/learn\/rwa-tokenization-what-does-it-mean-to-tokenize-real-world-assets\" target=\"_blank\">tokenization<\/a> of real world assets (RWA).<\/p>\n<p>Japanese corporates have shown increased interest in the world&#8217;s largest cryptocurrency.
