{"id":11662,"date":"2025-02-06T10:31:47","date_gmt":"2025-02-06T10:31:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=11662"},"modified":"2025-02-06T10:31:47","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T10:31:47","slug":"strategy-sees-thursday-nasdaq-listing-for-strk-convertible-preferred-stock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=11662","title":{"rendered":"Strategy Sees Thursday Nasdaq Listing for STRK Convertible Preferred Stock"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Disclaimer: The analyst who wrote this piece owns shares of Strategy (MSTR).<\/p>\n<p>Strategy (MSTR) expects its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/01\/31\/microstrategy-upsizes-preferred-stock-offering-raising-usd563m-for-more-bitcoin\" target=\"_blank\">convertible preferred stock<\/a> Strike (STRK) to be listed on Nasdaq on Thursday, according to a slide in its earnings presentation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/02\/05\/microstrategy-rebrands-to-strategy\" target=\"_blank\">Strategy<\/a>, formerly known as MicroStrategy, also introduced new performance metrics when it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/02\/05\/microstrategy-reports-q4-loss-bitcoin-holdings-remain-at-471-107\" target=\"_blank\">reported fourth-quarter earnings<\/a> after the market closed on Wednesday. The Tysons Corner, Virginia-based company reported a loss of $3.03 per share. It did not adopt Financial Stability Accounting Board (FASB) rules, which would have avoided a $1 billion impairment loss. Those will be adopted this quarter, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strategy.com\/press\/strategy-announces-fourth-quarter-2024-financial-results-and-launches-new-website-strategy-com_02-05-2025\" target=\"_blank\">company said<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Among the new key performance indicators, is an 2025 bitcoin (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/price\/bitcoin\/\" target=\"_blank\">BTC<\/a>) gain of $10 billion. So far this year, it&#8217;s achieved $1.24 billion. A second KPI is a bitcoin yield of 15%; year-to-date it&#8217;s 2.9%.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.sanity.io\/images\/s3y3vcno\/production\/4d53ae431ad8cea194f27ec449dbfdb5f2507f8b-1599x903.png?auto=format\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Strategy has used about $17 billion out of the $21 billion at-the-market (ATM) equity program so far. In the earnings presentation, the company alluded to the share sales being just 2.9% of the total cumulative trading volume, with Nov. 11-15 being the highest percentage of total trade volume of any week at 7%.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.sanity.io\/images\/s3y3vcno\/production\/339102c3fac56d6c5dd001b11efea81f6015f453-3026x1698.png?auto=format\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Shares of the company were recently 1.3% higher in pre-market trading.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Disclaimer: The analyst who wrote this piece owns shares of Strategy (MSTR).
