We will encourage innovative technologies like AI and digital assets while protecting our consumers and investors.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The approach seems to be working. <\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, CNBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/10\/15\/kamala-harris-got-1-million-from-ripples-chris-larsen-crypto-warms.html\">reported<\/a> that <strong>Chris Larsen<\/strong>, co-founder of <strong>Ripple <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/xrp\/usd\">XRP<\/a>) gave $1 million worth of XRP tokens to Harris-friendly super PAC Future Forward.<\/p>\n<p>Benzinga spoke with <strong>Charles Dray<\/strong>, CEO and Founder <strong>Resonance Security<\/strong>, which uses AI to help secure smart contracts and crypto assets, and asked if he was encouraged by Harris&#8217; statement.<\/p>\n<p>Dray responded, &#8220;Regardless of who the president of the United States is, they will eventually find that they will need to support emerging technologies. The question isn\u2019t if, the question is how.
