However, altcoins have been hit harder than BTC and Ethereum.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">US President Donald Trump\u2019s latest tariffs aluminium imports has sent ripples through the market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAny steel coming into the US is going to have a 25% tariff,\u201d Trump said. A 10 February 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/trump-steel-aluminum-tariffs-import-duties-74d7bfde0da59e111a45e772d199f2b2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Associated Press report<\/a> revealed that when asked about aluminium, he responded, \u201caluminium, too\u201d will be subject to the trade penalties. \u201cTrump also reaffirmed that he would announce \u201creciprocal tariffs\u201d \u2014 \u201cprobably Tuesday or Wednesday\u201d \u2014 meaning that the US would impose import duties on products in cases where another country has levied duties on US goods.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Traditional and digital assets market reacted to this.\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Despite the declines, there is a lot to be optimistic about.
