The offerings will be available to users from February 12. Binance will also enable trading bot services for the aforementioned pairs <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">on the same date<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This is not the first time the company has shown support for TRUMP, a Solana-based meme coin introduced by US President Donald Trump. Binance was among the behemoths <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/official-trump-surpasses-pepe-as-binance-coinbase-join-the-trump-craze\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">listing<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the asset shortly after its launch last month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The move and the massive hype surrounding the asset were <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">some of<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the main factors fueling TRUMP\u2019s impressive rally during its first days of existence. As <\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">CryptoPotato<\/span><\/em> <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/trump-overtakes-shib-in-meme-coin-battle-btc-nears-105k-weekend-watch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">reported<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, the meme coin\u2019s market cap briefly surged past $14.5 billion, thus surpassing Shiba Inu (SHIB). The bull run, though, was short-lived, and TRUMP\u2019s price and capitalization gradually decreased in the last several weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As seen on its chart, the valuation pumped to $16.70 shortly after Binance\u2019s latest announcement before dipping again to its current $16 (per CoinGecko\u2019s data). <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> represents a massive 75% decline compared to the peak of over $72 witnessed <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">on January 19<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">While Binance\u2019s disclosure had only a slight effect on TRUMP\u2019s price, this was not the case with the other affected asset, Qtum (QTUM). According to a separate <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/support\/announcement\/notice-of-removal-of-margin-trading-pairs-2025-02-17-c07bde681b514deebde05194494bf030\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">announcement<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, the cross margin pairs HMSTR\/FDUSD, SAGA\/BTC and the isolated margin pairs HMSTR\/FDUSD, ILV\/BTC, LTO\/BTC, MDT\/BTC, SAGA\/BTC will become unavailable <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">from February 17<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cPlease note that users will not be able to update their positions during the delisting process, and they <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are strongly advised<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to close their positions and\/or transfer their assets from Margin Accounts to Spot Accounts <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">prior to<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the cessation of Margin trading <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">at 2025-02-17 06:00<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> (UTC). Binance will not be responsible for any potential losses,\u201d the company warned.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">When Binance withdraws support for a cryptocurrency, it often leads to a sharp price decline due to reduced liquidity, negative sentiment, and investor uncertainty. However, the digital assets involved seem unaffected, and most of them are in the green today (February 11), which <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/cardano-explodes-by-double-digits-bitcoin-taps-98k-market-watch\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">aligns<\/a> with the crypto market\u2019s revival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is important to note that severe plunges <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are typically observed<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> when Binance conducts a complete delisting process rather than removing just a few trading pairs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Such was the case in February last year when the exchange <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/binance-will-delist-the-following-cryptocurrencies-on-february-20th-major-altcoin-affected\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">terminated<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> all services with Monero (XMR), Aragon (ANT), Multichain (MULTI), and Vai (VAI)<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.
