It claims to allow people to mine digital assets directly from their smartphones, but <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">its<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> open mainnet and native token have yet to see the light of day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Despite the uncertainty, the project has amassed a multi-million community worldwide. In December last year, its application <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/2-massive-pi-network-pi-achievements-ahead-of-scheduled-release-date\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">surpassed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the\u00a0major milestone of 100 million downloads, while countries like South Korea, Japan, India, China, Vietnam, and others have become strongholds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Most recently, Pi News (the leading blockchain media platform on Pi Network) <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PiNewsMedia\/status\/1890455011139743966\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">revealed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that over 3.7 million people now follow the project on X (formerly known as Twitter). Thus, it surpassed Ethereum\u2019s subscriber base, which has a similar count.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Moreover, Pi News claimed that the only four cryptocurrencies that have more followers on X than <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pi<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Network are Binance Coin (BNB), Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As mentioned above, certain Asian nations have become somewhat of bastions for the project. Not long ago, Wu Blockchain <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/very-curious-pi-network-pi-fact-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">estimated<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that Pi Network\u2019s users in South Korea exceeded 1.3 million, outpacing the local customer base of major exchanges like Binance and Coinbase.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Recently, there has been a surge of gatherings in different countries, such as <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/pi-network-community-grows-in-these-countries-but-when-mainnet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">India<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, Nigeria, and China.
