We also look at reports of a restructuring offer, the possibility of legal or regulatory escalation, and why the exchange website can still appear inviting while operations are reportedly winding down.<\/p>\n<p>The bigger lesson is one I keep repeating: an exchange is not a bank. Use exchanges to buy, sell, or trade \u2014 then move your crypto to a wallet where you control the private keys.
