However, according to an analysis, \u201cyield is very high\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Happened:<\/strong> Saylor is the founder and chairman of the <strong>Bitcoin <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/btc\/usd\">BTC<\/a>) treasury company, erstwhile known as <strong>MicroStrategy<\/strong>, which issued 7,300,000 shares of 8.00% Series A Perpetual Strike Preferred Stock at $80.00 per share (NASDAQ:<a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/stock\/STRK#NASDAQ\">STRK<\/a>) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/markets\/cryptocurrency\/25\/01\/43399688\/microstrategy-prices-preferred-stock-offering-at-80-per-share-seeks-563m-to-buy-bitcoin\">on<\/a> Jan. 31.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Bloomberg data shared by Saylor in a graphic via an X post, these preferred shares demonstrate significantly higher liquidity than their peers, boasting seven times the trading volume. Additionally, these shares have outperformed the other preferred equity by \u201c~19% over the first two weeks of trading\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Comparing the first two weeks of other preferred shares since 2022, STRK\u2019s mean return has been 17.6% higher while others have declined by 1.1%.
