On January 23, 2025, the politician <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/trumps-digital-asset-executive-order-heres-whats-inside\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">signed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> an executive order titled \u201cStrengthening American Leadership in Digital Financial Technology,\u201d which supports the growth and use of digital assets and blockchain technology across all sectors of the economy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The order also prohibits federal agencies from \u201cundertaking any action to establish, issue, or promote CBDCs within the jurisdiction of the United States or abroad.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Trump\u2019s presidential victory and the hype surrounding his inauguration were among the main factors fueling the crypto market\u2019s bull run in late 2024 and early 2025, as Ripple\u2019s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, noted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Last month, the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">exec<\/span> <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/brad-garlinghouse-applauds-trump-effect-as-ripple-gains-ground-in-us-deals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">said<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the company had shifted its focus once again toward its homeland<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u2013 <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the USA<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u2013 <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">following the Republican\u2019s triumph.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201c75% of Ripple\u2019s open roles are now US-based, while over the last 4 years, the vast majority of hires were outside the US.
