We go through the easiest wallet setup using Shrike, connect it to a remote Electrum server so you do not have to sync your own full node, generate a fresh receiving address, and then configure a BLAKE2b ASIC miner to start mining on Rabid Pool.<\/p>\n<p>I also go over the current BTCB2\/XBT mining profitability, why older Sia\/BLAKE2b ASICs are suddenly making serious money again, the push toward more decentralized mining, the basics of DATUM, Rabid Pool&#8217;s PPLNS setup, and how to confirm your miner is online and submitting shares.
