However, multiple developments and events hint that a final resolution could be just around the corner.\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One example is the regulator\u2019s Sunshine Act meeting scheduled for February 27, which<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0will be closed to the public and will <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">touch upon<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> numerous matters.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Some X users noted that Ripple\u2019s native token will also be included in the discussions this time<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> The analyst using the moniker ALLINCRYPTO <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RealAllinCrypto\/status\/1893988634027536604?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1893988634027536604%7Ctwgr%5E46979242eb1c1b1bd05d2ec12c5680e926c6b4b0%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Ftimestabloid.com%2Fxrp-is-directly-mentioned-in-sec-sunshine-act-meeting-holding-tomorrow%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">outlined<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that the SEC will <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">particularly<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> focus on Bitwise\u2019s application to introduce a spot XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is worth mentioning that the Commission has already <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-xrp-etf-edges-closer-to-reality-with-new-milestone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">acknowledged<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the company\u2019s filing, meaning it must officially approve or reject the product\u2019s launch within 240 days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A potential green light would double down on the SEC\u2019s pro-crypto approach since <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the departure of Gary Gensler. Recall that the<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> former Chairman (who was known for his hostile stance toward the digital asset industry) <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/gary-gensler-officially-out-what-does-it-mean-for-ripple-xrp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">resigned<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> on January 20 and was succeeded by Mark Uyeda.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Under the new leadership, the agency <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/coinbase-ceo-boasts-about-sec-lawsuit-dismissal-is-ripple-next\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">dismissed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> several lawsuits<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, including those<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> against Coinbase and Uniswap.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> In addition, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the case versus Binance was <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/binance-and-sec-agree-to-60-day-pause-in-legal-proceedings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">paused<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for 60 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The XRP Army has raised hopes that the legal battle against their favorite company <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">could be the next to reach its conclusion<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Not Like the Rest<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is important to note that the Ripple v. SEC lawsuit is different and far more complex than the other cases involving the Commission and crypto entities. One person <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-v-sec-lawsuit-heres-why-a-quick-resolution-is-unlikely\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">giving his two cents<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0was the popular US lawyer Jeremy Hogan:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cThe SEC broke up with Coinbase after a\u00a0couple of dates. Ripple and the SEC live together and have a baby,\u201d the attorney stated.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Hogan believes dismissing the case against Ripple is unlikely, predicting a settlement instead. Eleanor Terrett (a journalist at Fox Business) agreed, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">saying<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that Judge Torres has already <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-fined-125m-in-lawsuit-against-sec-xrp-price-soars-20-immediately\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">ordered<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> a $125 million fine on the company for violating <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">certain<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> rules. She added that the magistrate can retain jurisdiction until August 7 \u201cto make sure the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">terms of the order<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are met<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Recall that Ripple\u2019s bosses were ready to pay the penalty, but the SEC <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/sec-provides-details-with-last-minute-appeal-in-ripple-xrp-ruling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">appealed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.
