The firm launched a tokenized share class of its Sterling (GBP) Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), allowing investors to access the fund in tokenized form.<\/p>\n<p>Ripple and Aviva confirmed the news in a joint announcement on Monday. The Sterling Liquidity Fund is Aviva\u2019s largest, managing about \u00a322 billion ($29.4 billion).<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Aviva Adds a Second Tokenized Fund<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Sterling fund follows the launch of Aviva\u2019s USD Liquidity Fund on XRPL earlier in July. Together, the two tokenized share classes hold about \u00a386 million in investments.<\/p>\n<p>Aviva said this makes it one of Europe\u2019s largest providers of tokenized money market funds. The company also made a \u00a350 million investment of its own in the new Sterling share class.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Ripple Partnership Targets More Tokenized Funds<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Ripple\/status\/2114654501013541032\" rel=\"nofollow\">The launch is part of a wider collaboration between Aviva and Ripple.<\/a> Both companies say they aim to bring more tokenized funds to the XRP Ledger, pointing to further expansion beyond the two liquidity funds.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>XRPL\u2019s Position in the RWA Market<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to RWA.xyz data, the XRP Ledger is the ninth-largest blockchain network for tokenized assets.
