The Magic Miner 40T packs 30 Bitcoin mining ASIC chips into a compact miner designed to deliver up to 50 TH\/s while still being practical to run at home.<\/p>\n<p>In this video, I put the Magic Miner through its four different performance modes and test its actual hashrate at the mining pool rather than relying on what the miner reports. I also measure real power consumption directly from the wall to see how efficient this miner actually is.<\/p>\n<p>The results were interesting. At its most efficient setting, I measured 29.84 TH\/s while using just 469 watts, resulting in an efficiency of 15.72 J\/TH.
