As of March 3, Metaplanet now holds 2,391 BTC, for a total amount of $196.3 million, at an average price of $82,100 per bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Also, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/gerovich\/status\/1896337626589716815\" target=\"_blank\">Simon Gerovich<\/a>, CEO of Metaplanet, the company has been formally invited by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq (Nasdaq) to introduce their platforms and functions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are considering the best way to make Metaplanet shares more accessible to investors around the world,&#8221; Gerovich said in an X post.<\/p>\n<p>Metaplanet is up approximately $21.3 million on its bitcoin strategy, while its shares are up 20% in Monday&#8217;s market, with shares at 4,010 yen.<\/p>\n<p>Metaplanet became the second publicly traded company to announce they bought the bitcoin dip after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/02\/28\/bitdeer-buys-the-bitcoin-dip-with-btc-price-set-for-worst-month-in-three-years\" target=\"_blank\">Bitdeer Technologies<\/a> said they purchased more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Metaplanet (3350) purchased 156 BTC for $13.4 million at $85,590 per bitcoin.
