According to Hoskinson, he only learned about it on the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">day of the announcement<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cWe knew nothing about ADA <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">being selected<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for the reserve. It was news to me,\u201d Hoskinson <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/IOHK_Charles\/status\/1897439309638340993\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">stated in a video on 5 March 2025<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.
