{"id":17840,"date":"2025-03-18T23:39:56","date_gmt":"2025-03-18T23:39:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=17840"},"modified":"2025-03-18T23:39:56","modified_gmt":"2025-03-18T23:39:56","slug":"crypto-market-maker-keyrock-launches-u-s-entity-as-regulatory-climate-set-to-improve-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=17840","title":{"rendered":"Crypto Market Maker Keyrock Launches U.S. Entity as Regulatory Climate Set to Improve"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Cryptocurrency market maker Keyrock is launching a new entity in the U.S. and opening an office in New York, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Valdes-Rodriguez, Keyrock&#8217;s chief commercial officer, will lead the development of the New York business, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>Valdes-Rodriguez has more than 25 years of experience in senior management roles at traditional finance institutions, including ABN AMRO, Scotiabank and Credit Agricole.<\/p>\n<p>Improving regulatory clarity in the U.S. under President Donald Trump&#8217;s new administration is expected to lead to a boom in digital assets. <\/p>\n<p>The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has formed a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2025\/01\/21\/sec-forms-new-crypto-task-force-spearheaded-by-hester-peirce\" target=\"_blank\">crypto task force<\/a> led by Commissioner Hester Peirce to draft new regulations for the industry.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The U.S., as the largest capital market in the world, is a natural fit for our ambitions to eventually become one of the largest players in global financial markets,&#8221; said Kevin de Patoul, CEO of Keyrock, in the release.<\/p>\n<p>Keyrock was founded in Brussels in 2017 and has existing entities in Belgium, the U.K., Switzerland and France.<\/p>\n<p>The crypto market maker provides liquidity to over 85 centralized and decentralized trading venues globally.
