The topic is among the most discussed in the space, and as such, it has become the subject of multiple speculations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Most recently, some X users have <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RippleXrpie\/status\/1901886709857411552\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">raised<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> hopes that the eventual appointment of Paul Atkins as the regulator\u2019s new Chairman could contribute to a favorable resolution for Ripple. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The American, nominated by US President Donald Trump, is reportedly <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Eleanor_Mueller\/status\/1901714958108291193\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">scheduled<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for a committee hearing <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">on March 27<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. The Senate will then vote on his appointment, and if confirmed, he will become the next leader of the SEC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Atkins is known for his pro-crypto stance, which might explain why XRP proponents are awaiting his arrival at the scene. He has also previously <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">criticized<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the SEC for its approach toward the digital asset industry.
