\u2018It is time for the SEC to return to its core mission that Congress set out for it: investor protection; fair, orderly, and efficient markets; and capital formation.\u2019<\/p>\n

And, as we\u2019ve seen so far, these are not just empty words; Atkins and the SEC have backed them up with swift actions.<\/p>\n

In little over a month, the SEC has dropped multiple lawsuits, including a high-profile one against Ripple<\/a>. Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, announced the good news<\/a> on March 19 on his X account.<\/p>\n

Other notable instances include Robinhood<\/a> and OpenSea<\/a>, with both praising the SEC\u2019s new ruling.<\/p>\n

SEC\u2019s latest pardons targeted Kraken, ConsenSys, and Cumberland DRW LLC, with Kraken painting the decision<\/a> as \u2018the end of a politically-motivated campaign\u2019 and stating that \u2018the government took a regulation-by-enforcement approach that stifled progress and disadvantaged the US against other countries who fostered innovation through fair and transparent digital asset regulatory regimes.\u2019<\/p>\n
