Already, <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinreservemonitor.com\/united-states-table\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">around 20 US states<\/a> have introduced legislation on Bitcoin reserves or broader state investment in digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>The bigger question is how increased Bitcoin purchasing pressure will impact Bitcoin\u2019s price. Spoiler: positively, most likely.<\/p>\n<h2>$BTC Price Moves Slowly, Sets Up Big Potential Moves<\/h2>\n<p>Many of the biggest $BTC purchasers, like Strategy, purchase $BTC off-exchange. While they purchase tokens from the exchanges themselves, the process is conducted through brokers or specialized exchange services such as Coinbase Custody.<\/p>\n<p>These OTC (over-the-counter) transactions don\u2019t occur at normal market rates; think of it as a \u2018bulk buy\u2019 discount.<\/p>\n<p>This sets up a delay between big purchases and the impact on Bitcoin\u2019s price.
