Its ambitious plans include reaching 10,000 BTC by the end of 2025 and expanding to 21,000 BTC by late 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Metaplanet\u2019s stock took a small hit during Wednesday morning trading in Japan, dropping 0.98% while the Nikkei 225 index remained flat, according to Google Finance data. According to the company\u2019s reports, it acquired 696 BTC during the first quarter of 2025 through selling cash-secured Bitcoin put options. This strategy yielded 50 BTC from premiums and 645.74 BTC from option exercises. The company uses what it calls \u201cBTC Yield\u201d as its primary key performance indicator.
