Earlier this week, asset manager Teucrium Investment Advisors revealed plans to launch the Teucrium 2x Long Daily XRP ETF (ticker: XXRP). The investment vehicle <\/span>received<\/span><\/a> the necessary green light from the New York Stock Exchange and is <\/span>expected<\/span><\/a> to go live today (April 8).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is a 2x leveraged product designed to give traders double the daily price movement of the underlying asset. The company issuing the ETF <\/span>explained<\/span><\/a> that it is suitable for investors with \u201ca short-term high-conviction view on XRP prices.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Teucrium also outlined that such developments could influence supply and demand for Ripple\u2019s cross-border token, but warned that usage growth is not guaranteed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDeclining usage could heighten volatility or lower XRP\u2019s price, negatively affecting the Fund,\u201d it concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Meanwhile, investors are waiting for the launch of a spot XRP ETF in America. The companies willing to introduce such an investment vehicle include Grayscale, Bitwise, 21Shares, Franklin Templeton, and others. <\/span><\/p>\n

Rumors of a potential partnership with Cardano<\/span><\/h2>\n

Several hours ago, Ripple <\/span>uploaded<\/span><\/a> a short video on X<\/span>, <\/span>predicting that tokenization could reshape global finance in the next years. <\/span>It<\/span> touched upon some important factors that may play a role in reaching that goal, but one particular element grabbed the attention of industry participants.<\/span><\/p>\n

The clip starts with a glimpse of Cardano\u2019s logo, which led some to <\/span>speculate<\/span><\/a> that the two entities might soon announce a collaboration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This<\/span> is not the first time the two have <\/span>been rumored<\/span> to shake hands. Towards the end of last year, Ripple\u2019s CEO \u2013 Brad Garlinghouse \u2013 and Cardano\u2019s founder \u2013 Charles Hoskinson \u2013 <\/span>exchanged<\/span><\/a> kind words. Shortly after, the latter <\/span>hinted\u00a0<\/span><\/a>that Cardano might integrate Ripple\u2019s stablecoin \u2013 RLUSD \u2013 into its system.<\/span><\/p>\n

XRP price predictions<\/span><\/h2>\n

The native token of Ripple witnessed a <\/span>major<\/span> decline at the start of the business week when the entire crypto market <\/span>nosedived<\/span><\/a>. XRP plummeted to approximately $1.65, a level last observed in November 2024. Nonetheless, the price rebounded from the local bottom and currently stands at around $1.87 (per CoinGecko\u2019s data).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Many analysts noted the revival<\/span>, making<\/span> interesting predictions for the short term.<\/span> The X user CRYPTOWZRD <\/span>believes<\/span><\/a> that moving above the $2 resistance level could ignite a rally to as high as $2.80.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, if Bitcoin continues to cause trouble, XRP may still decline to the $1.5160 daily support target,\u201d they added.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

For their part, Crazy Buddha <\/span>thinks<\/span><\/a> the recent market pullback \u201cis just setting up for a stronger rally.\u201d The analyst claimed that XRP \u201cis <\/span>currently<\/span> forming a triangle consolidation pattern, and a trend shift is about to happen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
