Data <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/piscan.io\/unlock-statistics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">shows<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that almost 1.5 million PI <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are about to<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> be released today (April 8). The total number of tokens unlocked throughout the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">ongoing<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> month will be over 160 million (worth approximately $92 million at current rates).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The record day <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">is expected<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to be April 18, when <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">9.8 million PI will be freed <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">up<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The substantial unlock this month<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> may be followed by a price decline should investors decide to dispose of their long-awaited assets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Currently, PI\u2019s circulating supply stands at roughly 6.8 billion tokens, but more than 5.1 billion remain <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in the form of<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> locked mining rewards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In addition to the scheduled <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">unlocks,<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> industry participants have supposedly <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CRYPTOAD00\/status\/1909522100592717977\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">moved<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> 2 million tokens to exchanges in the past 24 hours.
