However, Donald Trump\u2019s victory in the US presidential election in November changed everything and was followed by a massive rally. XRP surpassed $2.50 less than a month after the triumph, while in January 2025, it almost <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-missed-new-ath-by-just-1-can-xrp-break-through-today\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">matched<\/a> its all-time high of $3.40.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Over the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">next<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> months, the price retraced substantially and <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">currently<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> trades at roughly $1.80<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/04\/08\/xrp-could-hit-usd12-5-before-president-trump-s-term-ends-standard-chartered\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to the British bank Standard Chartered, XRP has much more fuel left for another bull run <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in the near future<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The institution supposedly noted the asset\u2019s progress since Trump\u2019s victory, predicting that the valuation could reach $5.50 by the end of this year and $12.50 by the end of 2028 (shortly before the president\u2019s term finishes). According to Standard Chartered, the potential approval of XRP exchange-traded funds while the Republican stays in charge will be a <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">major<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> catalyst.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Earlier this week, asset manager Teucrium <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/heres-when-teucriums-leveraged-xrp-etf-will-go-live-in-the-us\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">introduced<\/a> the first XRP-based ETF in the US, while the community still awaits the launch of a spot ETF. The companies racing to roll out such an investment vehicle include <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/grayscale-files-for-ripple-xrp-etf-listing-on-nyse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Grayscale<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, Bitwise, 21Shares, Franklin Templeton, and others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The POTUS re-entered the White House with a splash and an entirely different stance toward the crypto industry (compared to his previous presidency). He <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/10-promises-donald-trump-has-made-regarding-bitcoin-and-crypto\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">made<\/a> numerous promises to let the sector flourish, pledged to turn America into a global hub for crypto, and has consistently signaled his support for the growth of US-based digital asset companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">At the beginning of March, he <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/xrp-ada-sol-skyrocket-by-double-digits-in-minutes-after-this-trump-endorsement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">confirmed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that his administration would move forward with establishing a strategic crypto reserve that would include XRP (among other leading cryptocurrencies). Shortly after, though, the US president <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/market-tanks-after-trump-signs-executive-order-to-establish-strategic-bitcoin-reserve\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">signed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the executive order on the initiative, and Ripple\u2019s cross-border token was not included as it was solely focused on <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">bitcoin<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. In the aftermath, XRP\u2019s price soared significantly, but the spike was short-lived.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Further endorsement of the token <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">from Trump may positively impact its value in the following months and years. However, it is <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">important<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to note that an explosion to $12.5 would require the asset\u2019s market cap to hit almost $700 billion. As of this writing, XRP\u2019s capitalization is less than $105 billion, while <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">BTC is the only cryptocurrency whose figure exceeds that level.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Additional Forecasts<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Crypto X is rife with analysts envisioning that XRP could head north soon. JAVON MARKS recently <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JavonTM1\/status\/1909593324295430295\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">assumed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that the asset\u2019s MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) indicator nears \u201ca breaking point.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cThis divergence suggests that bulls can return with dominance and shift prices into continuing the recent major uptrend <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">back<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> towards $3.30+.
