Options are a popular trading vehicle to leverage and hedge risk and are especially attractive to institutional investors who are looking to control large amounts of shares.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Commission had until today to make a decision. James Seyffart, ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jseyff\/status\/1910058538233483512?s=46&amp;t=GB3EbtFKrQy-VuFozGCyWA\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> the approval was \u201c100% expected.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The options apply specifically to ETHA, meaning that BlackRock\u2019s product is the only spot ether ETF that options can be traded on.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Other funds are listed on the New York Stock Exchange\u2019s Arca and Cboe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) gave the green light for the trading of options tied to ether (ETH) exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
