Trump\u2019s victory meant an upcoming regulatory change, which was particularly important for the company due to its long-standing legal fight against the local securities watchdog.<\/p>\n<p>That lawsuit has effectively\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/breaking-ripple-news-sec-will-drop-appeal-xrp-price-reacts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">ended<\/a> now, just a few months after Trump\u2019s promised changes came into effect. XRP was name-dropped by the same POTUS to be potentially included in the country\u2019s strategic crypto reserve. There are multiple companies that had filed to launch their own exchange-traded funds tracking XRP\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<p>More recently, another massive development was announced as the company bought a large prime broker for $1.25 billion, which is <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/why-ripples-hidden-road-acquisition-is-a-game-changer-for-xrp\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">set to be a game-changer<\/a> for Ripple and its cross-border token.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, XRP\u2019s biggest gains came in the months leading to the actual changes, lawsuit closure, and big purchases, which brought speculations on whether that run was just another classic \u2018sell-the-news\u2019 event. The asset peaked in January this year at $3.4, thus matching its record from seven years ago. Since then, it has been mostly downhill, and XRP even slipped below the <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-xrp-dips-below-2-what-analysts-expect-next\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">coveted $2 support<\/a> on several occasions.<\/p>\n<h2>Can the Bull Run Start Over?<\/h2>\n<p>While analysts have their own <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/heres-what-can-restart-ripples-xrp-bull-run-analyst\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">view<\/a> on what can restart XRP\u2019s bull run, we decided to ask ChatGPT for its own take. The AI chatbot outlined the aforementioned Ripple ETFs that have to be approved to impact the asset\u2019s price because they can \u2018open the gates to institutional flow, like we saw with Bitcoin.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Second, ChatGPT listed the dire market conditions as of late. An improvement on that front could propel another price surge for XRP, which outperformed most crypto assets during the November-January run.<\/p>\n<p>The AI machine sees utility growth and adoption for Ripple\u2019s cross-border payment systems, as well as major partnerships, as the next potential reasons that could lead to an XRP price pump.<\/p>\n<p>Whale activity is also important for the price movements of a crypto asset, and ChatGPT noted that many such market participants have <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-whales-go-on-a-selling-spree-is-xrp-headed-for-a-further-correction\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">disappeared<\/a> from the XRP landscape as of late.
