After all, CEO Brad Garlinghouse previously <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/breaking-ripple-news-sec-will-drop-appeal-xrp-price-reacts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">announced<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that the regulator had dropped its appeal against the firm, describing the move as \u201ca resounding victory.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The final agreement now depends on the Commission\u2019s approval and could be just a matter of time. If given the green light, the SEC and Ripple will be able to finalize the settlement terms and close the lawsuit that has been ongoing since December 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One X user who recently touched upon the potential end of the case is All Things XRP. They <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/XRP_investing\/status\/1911466410846363998\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">warned<\/a> the community that closing this chapter might not act as a price catalyst for Ripple\u2019s cross-border token:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cYou are already late. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">That\u2019s priced<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> in.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">They claimed a substantial rally could occur after other potential developments surrounding Ripple, such as inking important deals with other entities. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Over the past months, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">there has been<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-xrp-news-april-8th\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> rising speculation<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that the company plans to shake hands with Cardano.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Most recently, Ripple spent over $1.2 billion to acquire prime brokerage giant Hidden Road, which many analysts believe could be a <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/why-ripples-hidden-road-acquisition-is-a-game-changer-for-xrp\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">game-changer<\/a> for XRP\u2019s future price trajectory.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Another factor that may play a role is the possible approval of a spot XRP ETF in the US, which would enhance the asset\u2019s legitimacy among institutions and perhaps increase their adoption levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Well-known companies racing to roll out such an investment vehicle include\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/grayscale-files-for-ripple-xrp-etf-listing-on-nyse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Grayscale<\/a>, Bitwise, 21Shares, Franklin Templeton, and others.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/polymarket.com\/event\/ripple-etf-approved-in-2025?tid=1744617606319\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">According<\/a> to Polymarket, the product\u2019s odds of seeing\u00a0the light of day before the end of 2025 are just <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">south of<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> 80%.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">XRP Price Outlook<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ripple\u2019s native cryptocurrency currently hovers at around $2.12, which represents a solid 28% <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">increase on a weekly scale<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_392210\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-392210\" style=\"width: 587px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XRP.png\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-392210\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XRP.png\" alt=\"XRP Price\" width=\"587\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XRP.png 1069w, https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XRP-300x205.png 300w, https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XRP-1024x698.png 1024w, https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XRP-768x524.png 768w, https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XRP-50x34.png 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 587px) 100vw, 587px\"><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-392210\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">XRP Price, Source: CoinGecko<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Analysts remain optimistic that a further pump could be on the way. Ali Martinez recently assumed that XRP trades within an ascending triangle, with key resistance at $2.22. He <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ali_charts\/status\/1911682606585815515\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">believes<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> a breakout above that level might ignite a rally to as high as $2.40.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For their part, CRYPTOWZRD <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/cryptoWZRD_\/status\/1911608792191484053\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">suggested<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that a jump beyond $2.2050 \u201cshould offer a further upside move\u201d and push XRP to $2.33 or higher.
