The World Economic Forum<\/a> has some startling predictions for the world in 2030 that go beyond the infamous \u201cGreat Reset.\u201d Their article \u20188 Predictions for the World in 2030\u2019 covers a range of topics from the environment to technology to crypto<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They even have a follow-up article on Forbes<\/em> titled \u201cWelcome To 2030: I Own Nothing, Have No Privacy And Life Has Never Been Better.\u201d<\/p>\n

If their article is any indication, here are four predictions about our future.<\/p>\n

1. Great Reset: All products will have become services<\/h2>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t own anything. I don\u2019t own a car. I don\u2019t own a house. I don\u2019t own any appliances or any clothes,\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

According to the WEF, by 2030 we\u2019ll all be using products as services. So instead of buying a car, you\u2019ll pay to rent one when needed. Instead of owning a house, more of us will live in shared apartments.<\/p>\n

This becomes all the more terrifying now that investment bank BlackRock<\/a> is buying up real estate worldwide so it can offer \u201chousing as a service.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not all bad news, though. The WEF predicts that we\u2019ll have more free time because we won\u2019t have to work to pay for all our stuff.<\/p>\n

But to us at 99Bitcoins, losing ownership doesn\u2019t sound like a net gain. Oligarchs will still own everything.<\/p>\n

2.. US dominance is over. We now have a handful of global powers<\/h2>\n

Woah, did a global organization comprised of Bill Gates, Yuval Noah Harari, and the CEOs of Google, Amazon, and Apple just call for the end of US hegemony? Yes, they did<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The WEF says that by 2030 there will be a \u201cmultipolar world order\u201d with a handful of global powers.<\/p>\n

The US will still be one of them, but China, India, and the EU will also be major players. What does that mean for the US or Bitcoin<\/a>, an asset pegged to global volatility? We guess we\u2019ll find out.<\/p>\n

3. We are eating much less meat<\/h2>\n

The WEF is serious about getting us to eat bugs. They predict that by 2030 we\u2019ll be eating much less meat because it\u2019s bad for the environment.<\/p>\n

They also say that lab-grown meat will be more ubiquitous, and we\u2019ll eat \u201cclean meat,\u201d grown in a lab from animal cells.<\/p>\n

4. By the 2030s Great Reset, we\u2019ll move toward the Red Planet<\/h2>\n

I\u2019m happy the WEF ended their tyrannical Orwellian hellscape on a good note. They predict that by 2030, \u201cthe first manned mission to Mars will take place.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elon Musk, who is not part of the WEF, says we need to become an interplanetary species or risk extinction.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know about you, but I\u2019m excited about this one. Dump the WEF on Earth, hitch a ride to Mars, and crank up the chaos for a shiny new utopia.<\/p>\n
