He insisted that there will be no \u201cCrypto Winter.\u201d <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Talking to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/video\/2025\/04\/17\/cardano-founder-charles-hoskinson-talks-bitcoins-250000-future.html#:~:text=Charles%20Hoskinson%2C%20founder%20of%20Input,bitcoin%20could%20rally%20to%20%24250%2C000.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"> CNBC on 18 April 2025,<\/a> Hoskinson said that eventually \u201cthe Tariff stuff will be a dud and people will realize that the world is willing to negotiate. And it\u2019s really just US v\/s China.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I started crypto, Bitcoin was under a dollar,\u201d said Hoskinson. \u201cI watched it go up and down and up and down. The macro changes \u2013 we\u2019ve lived through Obama, we\u2019ve lived through Trump One, we\u2019ve lived through Biden, and now we are in Trump Two. Presidents change, macro changes, but really, the question is, through every generation, are we gaining users? Are we gaining liquidity? These aim to establish clear regulatory frameworks for stablecoins, requiring full backing and robust oversight for issuers<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Hoskinson argues that once these laws are enacted, they will provide the legal certainty needed for traditional financial institutions and major corporations to confidently enter the crypto space.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Industry leaders have been expressing optimism about the future of Bitcoin and crypto. \u00a0Messari CEO Eric Turner said something similar about Bitcoin recently. He said,\u00a0\u201cI think we\u2019ve seen Bitcoin on one side with flows into ETFs, and then we\u2019ve had little pockets \u2013 meme coins and things that have been interesting. But, you know, compared to where we were when we had DeFi summer in 2020, 2021, we really haven\u2019t seen that external capital pouring in. We haven\u2019t seen the level of interest from institutions and enterprises.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re probably looking at a muted Q2, but I\u2019m really excited for Q3 and Q4.
