Cryptocurrency firms and exchanges are increasingly moving into Wall Street territory, launching more traditional investment offerings and showcasing the growing synergy between crypto and traditional finance (TradFi).<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a growing synergy between traditional financial investments and the emerging crypto space,\u201d according to Gracy Chen, the CEO of Bitget, the world\u2019s sixth-largest crypto exchange.<\/p>\n

\u201cCrypto players are now checking out traditional finance as they see the opportunity to bridge it,\u201d Chen told Cointelegraph.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe lines are blurring \u2014 investors want flexibility, and products that can straddle both worlds are naturally attractive,\u201d Chen said. \u201cSome players see TradFi as a safety net; others, like Bitget, see it as a launchpad for broader adoption.\u201d She added:<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a volatile market, integration is smarter than isolation.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Chen\u2019s comments come a week after crypto exchange Kraken launched<\/a> access to 11,000 US-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as the first part of a global expansion into TradFi offerings, Cointelegraph reported on April 14.<\/p>\n

Kraken\u2019s expansion into traditional stock offerings was announced a week after the S&P 500\u2019s record-breaking two-day loss of over $5 trillion<\/a>, triggered by US President Donald Trump\u2019s reciprocal import tariffs<\/a> announcement on April 2.<\/p>\n

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong echoed a similar vision. During the company\u2019s latest earnings call, Armstrong said Coinbase aims to help modernize the global financial system and bring more of the world\u2019s GDP onto crypto rails.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe think that’s a more efficient, fair, free world that will accelerate progress, and it creates economic freedom,\u201d he said during Coinbase\u2019s latest earnings call.<\/p>\n

Crypto and TradFi relationship is \u201cinherently symbiotic\u201d\u00a0<\/h2>\n

The relationship between \u201cdigital assets and more traditional assets is inherently symbiotic,\u201d a spokesperson for Coinbase, the world\u2019s third-largest crypto exchange, told Cointelegraph, adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cCore to our mission to enable economic freedom by onboarding one billion users to crypto, is supporting more of \u2018traditional finance\u2019 to be integrated with crypto.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cAs regulatory clarity and institutional adoption increase globally, we expect more of the global GDP to be running on crypto rails,\u201d the spokesperson added.<\/p>\n

Blockchain technology brings \u201cspeed and transparency\u201d while TradFi introduces \u201ctrust, scale and compliance,\u201d in an \u201cinevitable convergence,\u201d Omri Hanover, general manager at Gems Trade cryptocurrency platform, told Cointelegraph.<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether, TradFi and crypto unlock new pathways for both retail and institutional investors, especially those seeking exposure to digital assets without navigating the full complexity of native crypto products,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Traditional investment platforms such as eToro<\/a> and Robinhood have also<\/a> launched cryptocurrency offerings.<\/p>\n
