What Happened<\/strong>: Bitcoin <\/strong>drove the surge, surpassing $93,000 for the first time since the first week of March.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The rest of the market followed suit, with Ethereum<\/strong>, which was previously immune to Bitcoin’s advances, soaring nearly 12% in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin’s April gains shot up to 12.3%, a marked recovery from the 12% dip in the first quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n

The rally hit bearish traders hard as nearly $516 million in short positions were wiped out in the last 24 hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, if Bitcoin reversed to $90,000, over $677 million in bullish long bets were at risk of liquidation.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin\u2019s Open Interest lifted 12.18% in the last 24 hours to a new monthly high, while funds locked in Ethereum’s futures contract soared 15%.<\/p>\n
