Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum<\/a>, is now being investigated by the very institution he built. A whistleblower letter, sent to the Forum\u2019s board last week, accuses Schwab and his wife of blurring the line between personal privilege and organizational power.<\/p>\n

The letter, reviewed by sources close to the matter, details claims of misused funds and questionable conduct\u2014including Schwab allegedly directing junior staff to pull cash from ATMs for him and using Forum money<\/a> for private hotel massages. His wife Hilde, once on the Forum\u2019s payroll, is accused of arranging fake meetings to justify luxury travel.<\/p>\n

\u2018The sheer amount of footage speaks to the deep well of anger inside China against the country\u2019s exceptionally stringent Covid policies that have affected hundreds of millions of people, especially over the past year,\u201d the article wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

With that said, the West has its own problems with censorship and authoritarian crackdowns.<\/p>\n
