The terms of the settlement will remain confidential until a motion for preliminary approval is submitted.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit was filed\u00a0in late 2022 by <strong>Edwin\u00a0Garrison<\/strong>, an Oklahoma resident who alleged that\u00a0he bought an unregistered security\u00a0from FTX after seeing the\u00a0company\u2019s advertisements.
