Instead, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">you\u2019re<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> betting on price movements and settling in good old dollars. Two versions <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are expected<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">: a<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u201c<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">micro<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201d <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">contract sized at 2,500 <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">XRP,<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and a larger one at 50,000 XRP. Prices will track <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">CME\u2019s<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">own<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> XRP-Dollar Reference Rate, published daily at 4 p.m. London time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">CME\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Global Head of Crypto Products, Giovanni Vicioso, explained that <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">they\u2019re<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> launching the product to meet growing demand. In his words, XRP and its tech are gaining steam among <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">both<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> institutions and retail users, and futures give people a tool to trade or hedge more efficiently.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">XRP Market Performance Before XRP Futures Plans<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">So why now?
