Some, such as bitcoin, managed to break their previous all-time high. The largest cryptocurrency\u2019s new <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/bitcoin-btc-sees-new-ath-chainlink-link-explodes-15-daily-market-watch\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">peak<\/a> now stands at $110,000, registered just over three months ago.<\/p>\n<p>Others, such as Monero (XMR), registered notable gains of around 50% from early November to a February peak of $240. However, the privacy token failed to break its all-time high.<\/p>\n<p>The landscape changed entirely in the past 24 hours as XMR registered <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">a massive green candle. The price of the popular privacy coin exploded to a nearly four-year high of almost $350 before sliding to the current $307 (per CoinGecko\u2019s data).<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_394081\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-394081\" style=\"width: 566px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XMR.png\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-394081\" src=\"http:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XMR.png\" alt=\"XMR Price\" width=\"566\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XMR.png 837w, https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XMR-300x212.png 300w, https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XMR-768x542.png 768w, https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/XMR-50x35.png 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 566px) 100vw, 566px\"><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-394081\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">XMR Price, Source: CoinGecko<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is interesting to note that<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the asset\u2019s market capitalization soared by approximately $2 billion in a matter of hours, and as of this writing, it stands just south of $6 billion.<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> makes XMR the 27th-largest cryptocurrency, flipping well-known altcoins like Hyperliquid (HYPE), Pi Network (PI), <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and others<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Further Rally Incoming?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">From a fundamental perspective, it seems like there is no catalyst (at least as of now) for XMR\u2019s latest price pump.
