The products in question are the Ultra XRP ETF, Short XRP ETF, and Ultra Short XRP ETF, all coming from ProShares.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The news triggered a solid price uptick for the underlying cryptocurrency, while the official launch <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">was supposedly <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/heres-when-proshares-3-xrp-etfs-will-go-live\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">set<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for April 30.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In a recent <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JSeyff\/status\/1916885057010295181\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">announcement<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, though, James Seyffart (a research analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence) provided a vital update. He said the funds were not confirmed to go live on that date.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cWe don\u2019t have a confirmed launch date yet, but we believe they will launch \u2013 and likely launch in the short or possibly medium term,\u201d Seyffart added.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Some X users commenting on the post appreciated the clarification. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Others<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, though,<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> blamed Seyffart for trying to hinder the excitement surrounding XRP following the ETF news.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cNice try\u2026.but the spirit does not go back into the bottle,\u201d one user said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">ETFs Pile Up<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">ProShares\u2019 approval to launch the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">aforementioned products<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> comes less than a month after Vermont-based asset manager Teucrium <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/heres-when-teucriums-leveraged-xrp-etf-will-go-live-in-the-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">received<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the green light to introduce the first XRP-based ETF in the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is listed on NYSE Arca and offers investors leveraged exposure to the daily price movements of the underlying token. The fund had a pretty successful start, racking up $5 million in trading volume on its debut day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is important to note that a spot XRP ETF has yet to see the light of day in America. The well-known entities actively pursuing approval to launch such an investment vehicle include Grayscale, Franklin Templeton, Bitwise, 21Shares, and others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">There have been <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/xrp-etf-incoming-analyst-says-ripples-legal-win-changes-everything\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">rumors<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> financial giants BlackRock and Fidelity may also follow suit. However, at this point, they continue to stand apart from the rest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Meanwhile, the world\u2019s first spot XRP ETF became a fact in February this year.
