The stock closed Tuesday up 15.1% after the company announced the closing of a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/pressreleases\/24\/09\/g41003371\/cipher-mining-announces-the-closing-of-its-acquisition-of-barber-lake-300-mw-data-center-site\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">300 MW data center site<\/a> in West Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Including the Barber Lake site in West Texas and other recently announced purchases, Cipher said its portfolio is now expected to grow to more than 2.5 GW across 10 sites.<\/p>\n<p>Macquarie analyst Paul Golding initiated coverage on Cipher late Tuesday with an Outperform rating and set a price target of\u00a0$6.
