According to Arhur Hayes<\/a>, former BitMex CEO, Bitcoin\u2019s rally is similar to what happened from the third quarter of 2022 into early 2025.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the crypto mogul admitted his bullish sentiment was at a max, stating that he\u2019s \u2018all in\u2019 on Bitcoin and expects a $150K price point by the end of the year.<\/p>\n

What Triggered Bitcoin\u2019s Bull Run and Could New Crypto Follow Suit?<\/h2>\n

Hayes offers an explanation for what triggered Bitcoin\u2019s speedy bull run.<\/p>\n

\u2018[Today] We have a lot of fear, uncertainty, and doubt in the markets, and the monetary authorities, especially in America, cannot handle that, so they resort to money printing.\u2019<\/p>\n

Hayes believes the current bull run essentially started on April 9, with Trump\u2019s 90-day tariff pause<\/a>, which came soon after the president announced his tariff plan<\/a> on April 2.<\/p>\n

This string of events destabilized the markets to such a degree that mere rumors about the possibility of a pause caused an upwards market swing of $2T in less than half an hour.<\/p>\n

The gains would be erased soon after, only for the market to rebound by 6% following the official announcement a day later. The ups and downs of the entire tariff debacle looks like something out of Hollywood\u2019s playbook:<\/p>\n

It may be happily ever after, as Grayscale Head of Research, Zach Pandl, has also expressed a positive outlook on Bitcoin\u2019s future chart performance. <\/a><\/p>\n

Pandl stated that, while the Federal Reserve is worrying about the increasing stagflation risks, Bitcoin may reap the benefits:<\/p>\n

\u2018Like gold in the 1970s, Bitcoin today has a rapidly improving market structure, supported by U.S. government policy changes, that may help broaden the Bitcoin investor base.\u2019<\/p>\n
