The platform targets both already public firms on traditional stock exchanges and late-stage private companies seeking access to liquidity.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian investment firm SOL Strategies said it plans to be the first issuer on the platform, listing its stock for on-chain trading on Solana pending regulatory approval.<\/p>\n<p>Tokenization has become one of the hottest trends in finance. Asset managers and even central banks are experimenting with putting real-world assets\u2014bonds, funds, equities\u2014onto blockchains to improve efficiency and broaden access.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a huge opportunity: tokenized assets are projected to become a multitrillion-dollar market this decade, according to reports by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2024\/06\/21\/mckinsey-sees-just-2t-of-tokenized-rwas-by-2030-in-base-case-with-broad-adoption-still-far-away\">McKinsey<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/web-assets.bcg.com\/1e\/a2\/5b5f2b7e42dfad2cb3113a291222\/on-chain-asset-tokenization.pdf\">BCG<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2023\/10\/17\/tokenized-rwas-could-grow-to-a-10t-market-by-2030-as-crypto-converges-to-tradfi-report\">21Shares<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2023\/06\/20\/tokenization-could-be-a-5t-opportunity-led-by-stablecoins-and-cbdcs-bernstein\">Bernstein<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While the technology is advancing quickly, industry leaders including BlackRock\u2019s Larry Fink and Robinhood\u2019s Vlad Tenev have urged regulators to provide clearer guidelines.
